I really wanted opaque stocking, which is why I bought these. While nice, they aren't opaque. They are as sheer as a standard pair of nylons, which was a bit disappointing.
The 'one size fits all,' however, which usually doesn't work for me (I'm 5'10"), did not disappoint. Extra star for that! They do actually fit thigh-high where other 'one-size' brands just top my knee. They won't stay up on their own for long, though -- they roll because they have no elasticizing on the inner band. Wear a garter belt or they'll eventually be curled up around your knees.
Since they aren't opaque, I wear them over opaque tights with tall boots, and just scrunch the top of the stockings down so they peek over the boot top, just like boot socks. The stripes are a nice accent, and overall it's is a very cute-sexy effect with a short dress.

These are not really opaque - they are somewhat shear.
Still cute, but more of a trouser sock consistency than a sock feel.

They are very confortable and stylish. Be careful in caring for them, i haven't had much of a chance to wear them, but get many comments!;)
